Swarm Info

Its that time of year again where we get calls about swarms.  Swarms in trees, on peoples mailboxes, in a wall of a building, etc.
As much as we would like to come out and remove this swarm, as a Commercial Queen Breeder we can not bring any unknown bees into our operation, we have no way of knowing where those bees have been, are they infested with parasites, carrying virus etc.

The solution we can offer is to call the local county Ag department.  They have a list of people who will come out and take care of the swarm for you.

The contact info for Shasta County Agriculture is Phone: (530) 224-4949.

Always feel free to call or email us your questions: amanda@wootensgoldenqueens.com
